Bass Ringtone – Flo Rida ft T-Pain

Low peaked at number 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 for the week of January 5, 2008, and has held that position for 10 weeks. The song also generated the largest one-week digital sales in Billboard magazine history, with 470,000 digital copies purchased in one week. As the song climbed the music charts around the world, Low Ringtone was becoming almost as popular on mobile phones in North America, Europe, and Asia.

The Low ringtone has spent the last 12 weeks at the top of Billboard’s Hot RingMasters chart and was listed as the most popular ringtone by companies like FlyCell and Thumbplay during this time. Recent estimates have shown that Low is now the second most downloaded real music ringtone in history behind only Crank Dat (Soulja Boy). If Bass Ringtone continues to download at its current speed, it will overtake Crank Dat in just over 2 weeks.

Flo Rida was previously unknown to the mainstream ringtone market, although T-Pain has had several very popular ringtones, including “Bartender”, “Buy UA Drank” and “Kiss Kiss”. The second single from Flo Rida’s new album Elevator is also doing well on the music charts. Also, the Elevator ringtone is currently the fifth most popular cell phone ringtone in America. Flo Rida’s success on the ringtone charts should continue as more singles are released from her new album.

Real music ringtones are increasing in popularity at a rate of around 20% per year. The Low ringtone was easily the most downloaded ringtone of 2008 to date and this incredible success is set to continue in the weeks and months to come.
