Quit Smoking Cigarettes Online

Quitting smoking online may seem unusual and it certainly challenges one of the holy cows of hypnosis. But I’m sure that as a smoker who wants to quit, you couldn’t care less about the politics of hypnosis.

The only bottom line of interest is that it works. In recent years, since I started doing hypnosis online, I have successfully helped many people from Melbourne to Cardiff, UK to Los Angeles.

If I only had one space in the regular clinic, I would never have had the opportunity to help these people and so many others.

So what are the pros and cons of quitting online?

  1. You don’t need to travel, park, take public transportation, or take extra time away from work for your appointment.

  2. You sit in the comfort of your home or office; You can even do it from your car!

  3. You need a reasonable internet connection, a computer with a camera, or a modern phone.

  4. Skype can get out of hand, but I use the zoom, which gives a better quality picture and sound.

  5. Image quality can suffer if the connection is poor, this rarely happens, but if so, I just turn the camera off until it is resolved.

  6. The reality is that once you close your eyes you could be in my office or anywhere in the world, so it doesn’t matter.

  7. Some may feel like they lack a little personal touch, but families and friends stay in touch this way or in the moment, all over the world.

The reality is, if you’re ready to quit, we could do it at a table in a noisy, busy cafe, if you’re struggling online then you need to see it in action or is it just an excuse to avoid quitting.

The word hypnosis is divided into online is okay and online is not okay. The main reaction comes mainly from those who have not done it this way or from those who are concerned that a customer will have a strong negative reaction.

First of all, I have never seen a client have a strong negative reaction, after having done thousands of sessions.

And secondly, we are talking about quitting smoking and we are not delving into some terrible past trauma.

From my perspective, it all comes down to proper preparation so that when you sit in front of the screen and connect with me on Skype, you’re ready to quit and excited to quit cigarettes.
