The poster for Kanye Wests “Runway” is certainly among my favorite of his works. I first discovered West when he was dominating the charts with “Runway”, so my excitement levels were sky high. First, it is quite unfortunate that a lot of younger people (both kids and adults alike) mistook West to be a real artist because of his aggressive manner of putting art out in the world. That is all that he really did. But with that being said, it shows how influential he truly was.

It is so big, in fact, that it actually dominates the front of most buildings in my city! That is just crazy to me, and I have seen people do it in my neighborhood! Another reason that this poster is a great piece of art is because it talks a little bit about the man himself. In the poster, West has West cheeks, and that is something that he has wanted to do since he was a child. It shows a side of West that we rarely get to see, and it is a very interesting side of West. People can learn a lot from this poster, if only because they get to see how West thinks!
Overall, this is a really great poster. It speaks so much about West that people can learn so much from it. It is truly a timeless piece of art, and will stay that way for years to come. If you are a fan, you definitely need to own this poster! It is definitely worth it!
