5 Steps to Spot a Fake Pair of Coach Sunglasses

As summer approaches, we start looking for brand name designer sunglasses but at a reasonable price. Getting your favorite Coach sunglasses at a surprisingly low price is very exciting, but there can also be a different side, they can be fake!

Distinguishing a fake pair from an original one is quite difficult. But, if you follow these 5 steps, you will easily differentiate a genuine product from a fake one:

Step 1: Trainer Logo

One thing to notice right away is that authentic Coach shades will have the company logo on the inside of the arms. To discuss the features of authentic models that can help you spot a fake pair easily, you can head to an official showroom.

Step 2: Styles and Features

Various styles and features of Coach sunglasses should be studied through authentic catalogues. Know the style number of the sunglasses you’re interested in and write down their style and features when you go to a store. An authentic pair of Coach sunglasses would feature the Coach logo, style name, number, and color within the earpiece or arms. This would help you deal with scammers trying to give you a fake one at a very low price.

Step 3: Study and analyze the quality

Study and analyze the quality of sunglasses. Try to check the material used in it. If they appear to be too light, the logo, style name or number is fading, or the color is not uniform throughout the body, then you can be sure you’re in for a fraud!

Step 4 – Make Sure the Authentic Case Is Intact

Make sure the dealer gives you the authentic Coach case embossed with the brand logo or with the company logo embossed inside the top cover. Fake Coach sunglasses have no such case. They may come in clear plastic bags or a cloth bag. Beware of dealers who make excuses for case shortages and promise to deliver the case to you after purchase. They can never do that because it’s fake.

Step 5: Tally Images of an Original Pair

Click on the images of a pair of original Coach sunglasses and ask the retailer to show you images of their products. Count both images; a big difference can be distinguished between the two. The style features and quality would be visibly different. The logo, inner earphones and ID or model number may be wrong or even missing on the fake.

These simple steps can go a long way in spotting a fake pair of Coach sunglasses and saving yourself from fraud.
